Tanga is a port city in northeast Tanzania. Covering large swaths of coastline, Tanga Coelacanth Marine Park shelters prehistoric coelacanth fish and manatee-like dugongs. Within the park, Tanga Bay is home to Toten Island, with its ruined mosques and German colonial buildings. Tongoni village has centuries-old, ruined tombs. Northwest of Tanga, the limestone Amboni Caves are filled with stalagmites and stalactites.

Tour Plan

1

Day 1

Depart with the 12:45 Coastal flight from Arusha to Tanga. Upon arrival at roughly 14:10 you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy your afternoon/evening at leisure, choosing from one of many activities. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 2

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and full day at leisure on beach, choosing from one of many activities. Lunch, dinner and overnight provided by your accommodation.

Day 3

After a final breakfast, you will be transfer back to the airstrip. Depart by 10:00am Coastal flight back to Arusha (estimated time of arrival 12:00pm). Services end.
