Travelling to Tanzania

Yes, most visitors require a visa for Tanzania. You can apply online or at the Tanzanian embassy or consulate in your home country. Be sure to check the latest visa requirements before your trip.
Consult a healthcare professional for specific recommendations, but common vaccinations for Tanzania include Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and Yellow Fever.
The dry season (June to October) is ideal for wildlife viewing, with clear skies and minimal rain. However, the green season (November to May) offers lush landscapes and fewer crowds.
Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) is the national currency. While some lodges accept credit cards, Tanzania is largely cash-based. Exchange your currency before arrival or at reputable exchange offices.
Tanzania is generally considered safe, but as with any travel destination, exercise common sense. Be mindful of your surroundings, avoid carrying large sums of cash, and dress modestly in sensitive areas.
